Detox after quarantine
Well, let’s be honest. quarantine was a real challenge for our weight control and diet especially. we are almost back to normal but what about your body?
I have some effective detox that will help you to fasten the results.
Technique: every 2 hours we rotate one type of carbohydrate with one type of protein. Ideally, 250 g of kiwi, cucumbers, or grapefruit should be selected as carbohydrate and 2-3 boiled egg proteins as protein.
Be sure to drink a glass of water 30 minutes before eating.
This type of detox days may not be beneficial for everyone. Grapefruit, for example, can irritate the gastrointestinal mucosa
Such unloading days are recommended for people who have contraindications in the form of ulcers and other mucous membrane damage. This is the safest detox option.⠀
Technique: 200-250 g steamed green vegetables (broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower) 4-5 times a day.
⠀ After the quarantine of food loads, a day on vegetables will benefit everyone!
When we skip dinner and leave our body without food for 16 hours, we start the autophagy.
When a cell does not receive any nutrients from outside for a certain time, it begins to feed on its own reserves: ‘cell garbage’. In other words, it detoxifies the body at the cellular level.
Technique: for 8 hours we can eat, followed by 16 hours of hunger. Snacks and all drinks except water are also better postponed until morning. We don’t miss breakfast.⠀
It is recommended to make such detox days not more than 1-2 times a week.
Do not get carried away with detox for days – it is enough to observe this diet once a week. But also remember that one detox day will not solve the problem of overweight. The key to success is in mode!
